Most restoration companies leave when the drying stops.
Getting the water out is the first half of the job. Putting your home back together is the second: drywall, flooring, paint, trim, cabinets. Many companies do the first half, then hand you a list of contractors and wish you luck.
We do both. One company, one contract, one person to call. You won’t be managing a rebuild on top of everything else you’re dealing with.
See how the rebuild works →What happens when you call
You call, we assess
We’ll ask what’s happening, explain the safest immediate steps, and confirm current response availability before anyone is dispatched.
We stop the damage
We find the source, stop the damage from spreading, and start documenting immediately with photos and moisture readings.
We dry it properly
Commercial air movers and dehumidifiers, with moisture levels checked and recorded daily. Drying is finished when the readings say it’s finished, not when the floor looks dry. This is the step that determines whether mold shows up in six months.
We document the claim
If you open an insurance claim, we document the loss the way adjusters need to see it and communicate about our scope. Your carrier and policy determine coverage and payment.
We rebuild
Drywall, flooring, paint, trim, cabinets. Back to the way it was, finished by the same company that started.
What we handle
Water damage
Burst and frozen pipes, water heater failures, appliance leaks, sewage backups, and flooding.
Water damage →Fire and smoke damage
Structural cleaning, soot removal, smoke odor treatment, and the full rebuild afterward.
Fire and smoke damage →Mold remediation
Contained removal, and fixing the moisture problem underneath so it doesn’t come back.
Mold remediation →Reconstruction
The rebuild after the damage, from bare studs to final paint.
Reconstruction →You’re probably dealing with an insurance claim for the first time
Most people are. We document your loss thoroughly from the first visit. Photographs, moisture readings, and a written scope of the damage. If you open a claim, that documentation gives your adjuster a clear record of what we found and what work was necessary.
We can’t tell you what your insurer will pay. Coverage depends on the cause of loss, your policy, endorsements, limits, and deductible. We can explain our scope and documentation; your carrier makes the coverage decision.
How coverage and claims work →Utah winters break pipes
A pipe that freezes and splits can put hundreds of gallons into a wall cavity before anyone notices, and the damage often stays hidden until the thaw, and then it all arrives at once.
If you’ve found water, or you’ve found a frozen pipe that hasn’t burst yet, call before it does. The difference in cost between the two situations is enormous.
What to do about a burst or frozen pipe →Plumbers, property managers, and insurance agents
You’re the one who gets the first call, and the referral you make reflects on you. If you need a restoration company that shows up when it says it will, keeps you informed, and won’t embarrass you in front of your customer, give us a call.
Locally owned, based on the Wasatch Front
Our crews, trucks, and equipment are here. Nothing gets dispatched from a call center in another state, and nobody sells your job to a subcontractor you’ve never spoken to. When you call, you’re talking to the people who will be standing in your house.
Optimus is new. The experience isn’t. Our lead technician has spent 15 years on Utah water losses.
